The Hong Kong Shinkyokushinkai was established in September, 2003. It has joined the World Karate Organization Shinkyokushinkai as it’s Hong Kong branch in March, 2005.

The Hong Kong Shinkyokushinkai is a non-profit making organization composed of a committee which consists of a group of members who are strongly inspired by Kyokushin Karate. By pursuing the Martial Way, we hope to develop Kyokushin Karate among the new generation of Hong Kong with the spirit to cultivate the body and mind of every student’s, so as to inspire their self-esteem and concern for others.

We adopt the same curriculum as the World Karate Organization Shinkyokushinkai and teach in both Cantonese and English. All students will be granted a membership card from The World Karate Organization Shinkyokushinkai, enabling them to practice in local dojo throughout the world.

Through our regular internal and open tournaments, students could challenge themselves for improvement in techniques, physical strengths and determination. Students with outstanding performance will be referred to represent Hong Kong to participate in international tournaments.

We also strive to implement globalization by recruiting students from all over the world regardless of age, gender and race. We presently have students with age from four to over fifty. Welcome to join for self challenge to achieve more than you ever thought possible.
